Minding the Middle Aged Middle...and much more by Ellie Winslow

Here’s a website for those of us who are older and fatter and sicker than we want to be. Presented not by those young hard bodies - or even the “gurus” - but by someone older, fatter, who’s dealt with health issues and dug into the reasons. So let’s talk about weight loss, arthritis, blood pressure, senior moments, Crohn's and IBS, fibromyalgia and exhaustion, depression and Alzheimer’s, diabetes and cancer.

This began out of my own desire to find thinness and fitness again, but something amazing happened along the way. Losing weight was so difficult this time around, that I had to figure out what’s really going on!

In this process I found that there is a syndrome of health problems overwhelming my peers - being overweight is just the tip of the iceberg!

Let’s discover the common thread of all health issues—even though our doctors are not telling us about it! And let’s find a “good, healthy diet” that isn’t confusing - one that makes us healthier not sicker!

Ubiquitous, annoying, and discouraging, we fight the battle of the bulge. I want to be thin again. I want to feel great again! I want to feel in control of my physical self! And I don’t like dieting!

Can anyone make it

I think so...and that's what this site is all about!
